The Napa Latinx Community has a permanent home!

We are overjoyed to share transformational news: Puertas Abiertas has been gifted a building! Our first-ever permanent home — thanks to the incredible generosity of the Gasser Foundation. This historic gift marks a new chapter for our Latinx community in Napa Valley: a place to grow roots, heal, and dream even bigger.

Located at 305 Soscol Ave, Napa, CA this 6,000 square foot space will soon become Napa County’s first Latino-centered cultural and community resource center — a vibrant hub where families can access trusted services, celebrate our culture, and build resilience together. For nearly two decades, we have worked tirelessly to create safe and welcoming spaces for our community. Now, we will have a space that truly reflects our spirit, pride, and aspirations — a home built with and for our gente, our people.

We can’t wait to open our doors in Summer 2025. This is more than just a building — it's a beacon of hope and belonging, and we invite you to be part of it.

Stay tuned for more updates as we build this dream together. ¡El futuro se construye en comunidad! Future is built in community!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why was Puertas Abiertas chosen for this gift? This incredible gift is a reflection of the deep trust our community and partners like the Gasser Foundation have in Puertas Abiertas — a trust built through the love and resilience of our community, the dedication of our team, and our unwavering, culturally rooted commitment to Napa’s Latinx families and a more just, inclusive future.

Why is this donation significant? For 20 years, Puertas Abiertas has operated from rented spaces — including our beginnings in a small, one-room building generously rented from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. From that modest space, we offered life-changing programs, welcomed thousands of families, and built deep trust in our community. Now, imagine what we can achieve in a larger space — with more room to serve, more room to heal, and more room to dream.

Where is the new building located? The building is located at 305 Soscol Avenue, Napa, CA, right next to the Black Bear Diner in South Napa.

When will the new building be open for services? We’re currently making facility improvements and plan to move into the building by mid-summer. The building will officially open in mid July, once the move is complete and our staff has had time to settle in and prepare their spaces to continue welcoming families with care and support.

Will services continue in the meantime? Yes! All services will continue at our current location until the new space is ready. We anticipate, at most, a one-week service interruption while our new phone and internet lines are being set up, but we will remain available via email throughout the transition.
